Christopher Burke
Data Quality Manager

Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
The logophile
We might have selected the more commonly used nickname “Bibliophile”; however, it would hardly reflect the breadth of Chris’s interests. Chris is most certainly a lover of books, but his love of words and how they can be used is where Chris really dives in. His experiences range from serving as a debate coach for student-athletes in the humanities to editing audio books at the American Printing House for the Blind. He is an author of short stories and one novel, and yes, he was once the Employee of the Month at Borders bookstore. In all of his endeavors, Chris is driven by the belief that effective communication is vital to every aspect of our lives. This dedication to the power of words seems to drive his remarkable ability to listen, and -- lucky for those who work with him -- his talent for cracking jokes.
As data quality manager, Chris ensures adherence to data quality standards across our company, engagement, and candidate databases. With the aim of helping us to exceed client expectations, Chris is responsible for monitoring our daily data entry and collaborating with our team to improve consistency, efficiency, and quality.
To his role, Chris brings research experience and a proven track record of using technology to improve work processes. Before joining Acertitude, Chris was data quality specialist at O’Neill Consulting. Previously, he had database responsibilities in roles for Tunstall Americas, Carmichael’s Bookstore, and Fidelity Investments.
Outside of work, Chris’s passion is supporting the arts in his local community. He volunteers at fiction conventions and is a “giver” on World Book Night, which aims to provide free books to communities in need. On any given weekend, you will most likely find Chris cycling, reading a book, or working on a writing project.
