Dan Reilly

Confidence is silent, insecurities are loud.

— Don Coreleone

The representative

Dan’s story is one of standing up for others. The common thread in his career as a lawyer and Rhode Island state representative is serving people, triaging problems, and finding mutually beneficial solutions. As an associate at Acertitude, he applies these same skills to represent our clients’ and candidates’ interests and identify that magical fit between a business growth path and candidate career path. We view him as someone who can speak on everyone’s behalf, known for his intentive listening, candid truth-telling, and bedrock objectivity.

Dan relishes the opportunity to find and harness human talent, which is at the heart of his work as an associate. He supports executive search assignments with candidate identification and development, analyzing clients’ challenges, thinking through solutions, and responding with excellent research and results.

Dan joins Acertitude from his role as the founder and CEO of Legably, an online platform that connects job-seeking attorneys with law firms. Prior, Dan practiced as an attorney and remains a member of the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar. He spent the preceding three years as a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, during which time he was appointed to the House Committees on Finance and Oversight and several special study commissions.

Outside work, Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Alexandra and their newborn son Robert. And, if his calendar allows, squeezing in a bit of golf, skiing, or boating. He has been a member of several community organizations, including the Norman Bird Sanctuary, Save the Bay, and the Aquidneck Island Land Trust. He is also an Emergency Medical Technician and Eagle Scout.
