Life doesn’t wait when you do.

The first responder

How fitting that Jack’s favorite quote is about showing up for life. Jack is in many ways the first responder in his own life, and the lives of those around him. Literally, his first job ever was as a backcountry EMT trainee, called on a MedEvac helicopter mission to rescue lost hikers in Yosemite National Park. A believer in leading by example from the front of the pack, as a senior associate at Acertitude, he is first to assist clients and candidates by identifying their shared potential and possibilities. Personally, he shows up for life by doing what he likes most: listening to music, frequently in New York’s iconic music halls, and getting fresh air hiking the mountains.

Jack’s passion for helping others realize their full potential underpins his success as a senior associate with Acertitude’s healthcare practice. In this role, he customizes search strategies and leads candidate identification, development, and assessment activities. His greatest strength is stepping back to help clients understand the big picture, uncovering patterns and asking the right questions to identify their true needs.

He joins Acertitude with nearly a decade of healthcare consulting and recruiting experience as a trusted advisor to life sciences and medical device companies. Most recently, he was a consultant and case team lead with a strategic intelligence consultancy in the global life sciences sector.

In his previous role as senior manager, commercial strategy and forecasting for a healthcare-focused market research firm, he consulted operations and finance executives. Before that, he built a broad understanding of the complex system that is the healthcare industry as an advisory services associate with a human data science company.

When he’s not solving recruiting challenges, you can most likely find Jack outdoors, blood-pumping. Raised on Long Island and having recently boomeranged back to Manhattan, Central Park is his gym. His many creative interests include art, music, and gardening too. But above all, Jack values creating memories with family and friends.
