Janet Leibovitz

Senior Project Coordinator

If you love life, life will love you back.

— Arthur Rubinstein

The Doctor

Truth-be-told, Janet is a lawyer by degree and by training. However, the precision with which she approaches her work has earned her a new nickname around our offices. There are many positives to Janet’s ethos that “the small stuff matters.” Beyond her ability to apply extreme attention to the fine print, Janet is insanely good at reading people’s emotions and intentions. She applies this innate talent to her communication and problem-solving in our delivery of brilliant people at work. And, on any given day, she may recall a personal detail that makes someone feel valued.

Janet brings 13 years of legal experience to her role as senior project coordinator. Many of the qualities Janet honed during her law career translate to her current role. She brings the ability to strategize a plan and prioritize tasks to move the team forward while engaging the appropriate resources along the way.

As a senior project coordinator, Janet actively supports each stage of Acertitude search engagements by proactively managing progress and deliverables, establishing effective communication, preparing reports, and coordinating meetings.

Previously, Janet was research associate at Technology Executive Group (TEG), where she entered the world of retained executive search after having scaled back her career to raise her family. Prior to that, Janet balanced her motherhood role while serving as office manager for her husband’s firm, the Law Office of Andrew Leibovitz. Before that, she served as an attorney at the Law Offices of Debra Hart and Margolis Edelstein. She began her career as a judicial law clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court.

Janet is married, and the proud mother of two girls. When she isn’t on a field watching them play sports, she says her favorite way to spend a weekend is with family and friends, sometimes with a nice bottle of wine.
