There is no charm equal to tenderness of heart.

The Digger

Fierce yet kind, Julia lives up to the Taurus in her, continually sourcing until she uncovers truly amazing candidates. It’s little wonder that when she used to play all-league volleyball, she was also known as the best “digger” on the team, not afraid to sprawl on the ground to defend spikes. Beyond her terrific tenacity, you’ll find Julia to be an organized, genuine, and cheerful personality. She puts it to use at thrift markets on the weekends, digging around for those special pieces and swaying prices in her favor. We’re not sure what’s more extensive, her fabulous collection of vintage purses or her list of placed candidates?

Julia is a research associate on the Healthcare & Life Sciences team with more than five years of relevant recruitment experience. She diligently drives candidate identification and development efforts to find the best and brightest candidates on the market. Most frequently, she supports C-level searches for public, private, and private equity-backed portfolio companies in the biotechnology, drug discovery & development, healthcare services, life sciences, medical devices & diagnostics, and pharmaceutical industries.

Before joining Acertitude, Julia spent over three years at a boutique executive search firm focused primarily on the Life Sciences practice, specializing in diversity hiring. As an associate research manager, she delivered senior-level human capital solutions across a wide spectrum of functions, industries, and organizations. Julia previously held a staffing manager role at another specialty recruiting services provider. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Studies from Montclair State University.

Julia lives outside New York City with her fiancé Brian, their cat Toby, and their Miniature Schnauzer / Dachshund mix dog Freddy. You will often find her experimenting with new recipes and prepping fun outings with nearby family. She also loves the beach, exploring hiking trails, local wineries, and antique stores. Activities aside, her idea of a perfect afternoon is huddling up on the couch with her fur babies and a cup of hot chocolate in hand to watch a true crime show or Bravo TV.
