Morgan Best

Senior Associate

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

— Harriet Tubman

The dream catcher

Morgan strives to live boldly and purposefully — putting in the work daily to check off the boxes on her list of goals, passions, and dreams. Academically, she went after and earned three degrees. A fashionista at heart (and as evidenced by her fun colorful wardrobe), she turned her love for style into a thriving online boutique. And her love for recruiting she fulfills through her work at Acertitude. Even on Sundays, she aims to ‘carpe diem’ or seize the day, which for Morgan means brunching with friends, good music, and self-care routines. The real question is: which dream will she catch next?

As a senior associate in our Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, Morgan delivers on searches for clients across the managed healthcare, biotechnology, medical device, and facilities industries. Always one to put clients’ business needs first, she takes a tailored approach to connect clients with top-tier talent who can reshape and grow their businesses. Her involvement spans candidate identification, engagement, and assessment.

Morgan has nearly a decade of experience in healthcare recruitment. Prior to joining the Acertitude team, Morgan led the Healthcare Executive Search practice for DHG Search. Earlier in her career, she led physician recruitment and retention for a large hospital system and served as a physician recruiter with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).

Morgan holds two master's degrees: a Master of Healthcare Administration from The Medical University of South Carolina and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Also, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston, where she continues to serve on the board of directors and support the Give Back Strategic Initiative.

When she is not exceeding clients’ expectations, Morgan loves to embrace new experiences in her hometown of Charlotte, NC, and adventuring well beyond to the likes of Thailand, Mexico, and Africa. Exploring local businesses with friends and family, taking cooking classes while traveling internationally, and finding any excuse to spend time on the water are among her other favorite things to do.
