Sarah Boothby

Senior Associate

Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.

— Winston S. Churchill

Sarah grew up in Philadelphia, in a quaint section of the city that reminds her of an older era, with cobblestone streets and neighbors who seem to know everyone. Sarah is our go-to person if you want to brush up on your understanding of current events, as she’s an avid consumer of the news, and loves discussing a new piece of information she’s learned. She stays active (she’s a former nationally ranked squash player), so you may find her exploring the outdoors – swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, or bike riding. As a hobby, Sarah leverages her curiosity about technology and math to teach herself how to code.

Sarah is a senior associate in technology and private equity at Acertitude. Here, she supports principals and partners in recruitment and business development. And she helps craft search strategies, market mapping, and candidate identification and assessment.

Before Acertitude, Sarah began her career in recruitment at Atrium where she worked for nearly seven years in roles including senior national account director and talent director. She also has experience working in specialty sales at the trade book publisher, Penguin Random House, as a wholesale coordinator at the jewelry company, Julie Vos, and as an external affairs coordinator at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, an independent school in Philadelphia. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science from Roanoke College.

Sarah resides in New York City. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying out new restaurants, biking, and taking bootcamp fitness classes. In her spare time, she enjoys giving back to the community through volunteer work.
