Shanon Johnson

Senior Project Coordinator

When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.

The Sunbeam

Wherever Shanon goes is golden hour. Truly. She lights up any group she is part of with her positive energy, contributions, and commitment. It’s as if she has this endless supply of internal motivation and drive. And it comes through in everything she does at work and in life. It’s always been that way. In her teens, Shanon brought her sunshine to the stage of the reality show Dancin' On Air — alongside the likes of Madonna, Stevie Wonder, and Kelly Ripa, we might add — spreading joy to viewers with her performance.

Shanon is a senior project coordinator with a 20+ year track record of supporting board members, CEOs and executives through project management and administration.

At Acertitude, she provides an extraordinary experience to anyone working with us. In her driving yet considerate way, Shanon brings the teams in our Technology practice together to solve challenging searches for C-level leaders. She typically has her hands full with everything from coordinating projects and communications to aligning calendars and producing reporting.

Shanon brings over two decades of administrative support, human resource, and customer service experience.  Most recently, she served as executive assistant to the President, CFO, and COO of one of the world's largest private fleet management companies. She previously spent close to a decade in the leadership consulting space as

an executive assistant before getting promoted to business support team leader for Korn Ferry’s Hay Group.  As team leader, Shanon managed the administrative business support team within five regional offices including their HQ.  She has also held EA roles with Marsh and PHH before which she spent time as a recruiter for administrative professionals.

Shanon lives in Southern New Jersey with her daughter and cat Nala. On days off, you can find them cooking up something delicious or watching a movie curled up on the couch. In the warmer months, she loves to travel, soak up the sun at the beach, and explore the outdoors. Shanon also enjoys utilizing her free time volunteering with local various charitable including her passion for the Ronald McDonald House.
