Acertitude Recruits Chief Revenue Officer for Indigo Energy

New York, NY, May 24, 2017 — Acertitude, the executive search firm on a mission to unleash human potential, is pleased to formally announce the placement of Reza Ghorieshi as chief revenue officer of Indigo Energy, a wholesale provider of petroleum products and renewable-fuel solutions based in Gainesville, GA. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and executing the company’s strategic plan.

Ghorieshi’s responsibilities consist of leading the formation of a world-class sales and marketing team, reinventing and optimizing revenue and lead- generation processes, and creating a superior, technology-optimized customer experience. A master of sales, marketing, and strategy, he is constructing the ultimate growth engine and helping shape the future of Indigo as it transforms the industry with a technologically advanced, process-driven approach to fuel distribution.

“Reza’s impact has been monumental. We already look and feel like a different company,” shares John Mansfield, Chief Executive Officer of Indigo Energy.

“In only 60 days, he has brought our sales and marketing teams together and rallied everyone around our mission. He has strengthened our supplier relationships, elevated our marketing impact, and brought in another top sales producer. Looking further down the road, Reza’s mastery around global sales and technology — coupled with his forward-thinking ideas — will be instrumental to our long-term transformation.”

“Whether driving through a significant business transformation to realize new opportunities, like Indigo, or a digital transformation to reveal better customer experiences, honing in on the right leadership is critical,” says Rick DeRose, Acertitude Founder and Managing Partner. “We are seeing two hiring trends continue to dominate in 2017. Companies across the board are increasingly turning to the chief revenue officer position to ramp up their growth trajectory and seeking individuals who are resourceful, tech-savvy, and embrace change.”

DeRose led the executive search, supported by Tom Dougherty, Partner, collaborating with Mansfield and the Indigo Energy leadership team. DeRose has a strong track record of recruiting successful sales, marketing, and strategy talent for businesses that are growing rapidly and driving transformative change.

“Indigo is on a dynamic growth path and has an even brighter future ahead with Reza,” says DeRose. “Our goal was to identify and attract a high-caliber executive who could break new ground for the sales and marketing organizations and flourish in their entrepreneurial culture.

He continues, "The Indigo leadership team’s planful approach in hiring an executive who builds the capabilities of tomorrow is a game changer.”

Most recently, Reza was the global vice president, software sales and presales, for NCR Corporation, where he developed and executed their global sales strategy, after serving as vice president, software sales Americas, for two years. Previously, he held various sales roles of increasing responsibility for IBM. He was key in driving NCR’s and IBM’s global transformations from hardware-centric to software- and consulting-led enterprises. A natural entrepreneur, Reza was also the founder and architect of two software firms. He holds a master of business administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor of science in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
