The Linguist
The importance of academics was instilled in Jennifer from a young age as the child of two immigrant parents. Despite her penchant for mathematics and physics, she pursued her passions, studying German and literature and then management. She spends her free time drawing, a hobby she picked up during her college years, as well as tearing through the latest book she picked up.
You cannot use someone else's fire. You can only use your own. And in order to do that, you must first be willing to believe that you have it. Audre Lorde
Jennifer is a graduate analyst at Acertitude, operating out of the London office. She supports executive searches for private equity firms, portfolio companies, and corporate enterprises across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, identifying diverse candidates, completing targeted research, and producing reporting for decision-making.
Jennifer brings experience from Norbert Zänker & Colleagues Translators in Berlin, high-quality specialist translations for law and finance. Here, she gained exposure to client management, research and archiving, quality control, and accounting––all of which she learned in German.
Jennifer earned a B.A. in management studies from Trinity College at the University of Cambridge, where she also studied language and literature. While a student, Jennifer completed various internships and programs, including co-founding FUSE, a society for LGBTQ+ students of color.
Jennifer lives in South London, spending her weekends picking tomatoes in the garden and thrifting for clothes. A chef in her own right, her best dish is Aubergine Parmigiana, and she is very protective of her mint and basil plants.
