Doug exceeds at deep diving the figurative way, though he can also lay claim to physical feats, triathlons and open water swimming among them. He delights in the details that drive him from point A to point B, energized equally by the journey and end goal. His curiosity has brought him across the world to places like Shanghai and Buenos Aires. Armed with his global awareness and knowledge of organizational behavior, Doug dives deeply into searches, unearthing insights usually left uncovered. He can always be counted on to deliver all-star candidates — and a great quip or two, as likely to quote Bill Murray as Bill Shakespeare.

Doug is an executive search leader and human capital strategist with more than 15 years of multinational expertise across the construction, hospitality, real estate, and technology industries.
Well-versed in organizational design and behavior, he aligns talent to fit our clients’ business strategies and cultures. He manages key client relationships and engagements for a range of leadership roles, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. He also leads engagements for our sister company, O’Neill Consulting.
Doug was previously founder and managing director of DMR Advisory, acquired in 2015 by O’Neill Consulting, an Acertitude company, where he was a member of The Association of Executive Search Consultants. Previously, Doug served for 13 years as managing director of an executive search firm where he helped launch one of the first online recruitment websites.
Based in New York, Doug's personal passions include finishing New York Times crossword puzzles and spending as much time as possible outdoors. He considers being a husband and father his greatest accomplishments.
