The Communicative Chef
During her first-ever job, at an ice cream at parlor in her hometown, Helen learned the value of relationships and communication to greater productivity and happier clients. She found the greatest teams to be built on trust, driven by shared goals, open dialogue, diverse perspectives, and complementary strengths. These team dynamics still apply, she believes, as beneficial to completing executive searches as they were to scooping vanilla and chocolate into sugar cones.
You have to accept whatever comes, and the only important thing is that you meet it with the best you have to give. Eleanor Roosevelt
Helen is an analyst in the Consumer and Industrial practices at Acertitude, providing insights that help premier investors and PE-backed businesses build out executive management teams and boards. Her core responsibilities include curating talent pools for active projects and conducting proactive market mapping.
Prior to joining Acertitude, Helen interned at another global executive search and advisory firm, where she served as an associate. Her work similarly included researching candidates and companies, mapping organizational structures, and supporting interviews.
Helen graduated from The Pennsylvania State University’s Schreyer Honors College, where she double majored in political science and sociology.
Helen resides in New York City. On weekends, you can find her spending time with her identical twin sister or visiting family in Pennsylvania, at the creek with her lab, Tilly. She enjoys whipping up vegan dishes and a mean sourdough bread, which she accredits to the pandemic.
