NEW YORK (September 26, 2023) — Acertitude, the executive search firm unleashing human potential, has recruited David Koenig as the new chief information officer of private equity-backed Delinea, the leading provider of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions for the modern, hybrid enterprise.

As Delinea pursues its next phase of growth and pushes the boundaries of digital transformation, Koenig adds a critical combination of strategic leadership and technical knowledge, having been a serial CIO. Koenig will spearhead the IT function in support of the value creation plan, modernizing technology infrastructure, elevating strategic and operational dialogue firmwide, and setting the vision for the business applications, IT infrastructure and security teams.

The CIO search was completed in 91 days by Jessica Tvelia, partner, who specializes in the Technology and Private Equity sectors. In addition to Corporate & Financial Officers, the team has functional capabilities that span Board & CEO, Operations & Supply Chain, Transformation & Restructuring, Commercial Officers, and Technology & Cyber Officers.

Koenig has a proven 20+ year track record of transformative technology leadership in private equity and modern technology environments. He has orchestrated IT transformations in both public and private equity realms and in various sectors, including asset management, insurance, retail operations, and risk management.

Prior to taking the CIO role at Delinea, Koenig held CIO positions at Citi, Liberty Mutual, Athena Health, and Sprinklr in addition to holding other corporate leadership roles at State Street and Fidelity Investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
