The Literature Enthusiast
Cynthia needs three things to be happy: a good book to read, a pet to snuggle up with, and a strong cup of coffee. As a hobby, she is a book reviewer and loves getting her hands on the next great soon-to-be-released novel. The outdoors is her happy place, and she now lives in a remote part of California in a town of 100 people. She’s also a big animal lover. If you’re ever on Zoom with Cynthia, you may get to meet one of her rescue pets (cats, Henri and Alice, and part-Great Pyrenees Georgia Blue).
Success isn’t about how much money you make, it’s about the difference you make in people’s lives. Michelle Obama
As a curious go-getter, Cynthia is a driven project coordinator and writer in Acertitude’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. She greatly values her role in drafting up insightful reporting, coordinating assessments, and managing deadlines and deliverables.
Before Acertitude, Cynthia spent nearly 15 years as a Conversion Analyst for a global team at SAP. Here, she developed extensive experience researching contracts, auditing multimillion-dollar sales deals for compliance, and running an employee engagement program. She has additional experience writing reviews and conducting interviews in the arts and entertainment space for local news sites. Cynthia has a B.A. in English Literature from San Jose State University – a school her mother and great-grandmother (class of 1909) also attended.
Cynthia lives in the Sierra Foothills of California. Regarding personal hobbies, she enjoys bringing her dog along on a hike to a local lake, wine tasting with friends and family, and getting her hands on an exciting new cookbook recipe to try. She also enjoys remodeling her 100-year-old farmhouse. Outside of work, Cynthia volunteers at her local theater and is on the Board of Directors for a Community Services District.
